Students cannot make up a missed class online.  If a student must miss a class session, he/she should please make it up by attending the same session at one of our other ACT or SAT/PSAT Prep courses (click here for schedule). No need to notify us–please just show up. If this is not an option for your student, a class session can be made up with one of our master tutors, subject to limited availability, with an additional $100 fee. Click here to ask about this option if needed.

Can 529 Plan funds be used to pay for testing or test prep?

529 Plans cover qualified higher education expenses. From the statute, “The term ‘qualified higher education expenses’ means tuition, fees, books, supplies and equipment required for the enrollment or attendance of a designated beneficiary at an eligible educational institution.” Because testing fees (and prep classes) are paid prior to a student’s acceptance for admission at an eligible educational institution, they are not eligible for 529 reimbursement.
