OnToCollege classes provide test prep that’s both engaging and effective. Students receive a curriculum full of test strategies, practice tests, over 11 hours of live instruction, and access to online materials. Sign up for live online or In-Person classes in Lincoln or Omaha.

National Merit Scholarship Program

Each year’s Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) is the qualifying test for a student’s entry to a particular year’s competitions, and begins a two-year process for high school juniors.

Discounts, Missed Sessions, and Refund Policy

Discount Codes for Alumni: Students who have taken an In-Person class may retake the same course for the discounted price of $98.  Students may attend the entire class or just the sessions they choose.  Students who have taken an In-Person class may also enroll in an Online At-Home prep course, with a discount of $100 off the cost of the selected online course. Students who have taken an In-Person class and would like to enroll in a different In-Person class may do so for a $100 discount. Click here to request a discount code.

Missed Sessions: Please do not miss a session! If you must miss a session, make it up with one of three options:
1. Online (no cost): All students have access to online resources as part of their enrollment. One of these resources is a set of videos covering comparable content to each live session. If you must miss a session, use these included videos to catch up, then do the homework before your next class.
2. Attend another site (no cost): Come to the same session number at the other site (Lincoln or Omaha). You don’t need to register in advance—just show up!
3. One-on-one ($100): Complete a 90-minute one-on-one tutoring session with an OnToCollege teacher. These can be scheduled at your convenience, subject to availability. Please email jamie@ontocollege if you are interested in this option.

Refund Policy: In the event of a cancellation, registration may be applied to a future class. Cancellations must be made prior to the first session of your registered class. 

In-Person class registrations are accepted online until the start of Session #2 for that class. Contact us if you wish to register anytime after Session #2.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many sessions are in each class?

The In-Person ACT Test Prep class consists of six 2-hour sessions.  The In-Person SAT Test Prep class consists of five 2-hour sessions.

What is covered in each session of the In-Person classes?
Generally John teaches classes in this order:
Session 1: English and Reading
Session 2: English, Reading and Intro to Math
Session 3: Math and Intro to Science
Session 4: Math and Science
Session 5: All four sections and Writing
What is your cancellation policy for the In-Person Class?

With notification prior to the start of the class, students may move to a future class. Refunds are not available.

What if my student has to miss an In-Person class?
Students cannot make up a missed class online.  If a student must miss a class session, he/she should please make it up by attending the same session at one of our other OnToCollege ACT or SAT/PSAT Prep classes (click here for schedule). No need to notify us—please just show up. If this is not an option for your student, a class session can be made up with one of our master tutors, subject to limited availability, with an additional $100 fee. Click here to ask about this option if needed.
